Custom-printed hotel key cards

The card the guest actually handles. Everything on this page is about how it looks at check-in and how it looks on the fourth night — because a key card is the one piece of a property’s identity that every single guest holds.

What we confirm before production

Confirmed against the installed system before production.

Where the card carries a transponder we confirm the installed system, the credential technology it reads, and the encoding scheme it expects before production begins. A printed card with no transponder needs no confirmation step and can go straight to proof.

Available materials

The card body decides how the card looks after a week in a wallet. PVC is the default; recycled PVC and paper-based bodies carry documented inputs; wood is a presentation choice that changes both the print process and the price.

Buyer guidance

How to brief custom hotel key cards

A useful quotation separates the working credential from the visible design. Confirm the installed access environment first, then state the number of artworks, quantity per design, bilingual copy, finish, numbering and delivery city. This lets the technical construction and print route be reviewed as two connected approvals.

Frequently asked

Custom-printed hotel key cards

Can Arabic and English sit on the same face?

Yes, and it is usually the better layout. The two scripts have different optical weights, so the pairing is set at design stage rather than by placing a translation next to the English.

Do you print variable data on every card?

Sequential numbering is standard and included. Guest names, room numbers and per-card QR are available digitally; they change the process from offset to digital and therefore the price at volume.

What happens if our artwork is only a low-resolution logo?

We will say so before proofing rather than printing it soft. In most cases a usable vector can be redrawn from a raster mark; that is quoted separately and shown to you before it is used.

Can you match a brand colour exactly?

To a supplied physical reference or a printed swatch, yes. From a screen value alone the match will be close but not exact, and on a corporate colour the difference is usually visible.

Tell us the project and we return a technical recommendation.

A short brief is enough to specify the card, confirm what has to be verified against your installed system, and price the run.
